When I became a mother, the most precious moments and details were constantly slipping away. I'd go to bed every night worried I was going to forget every little moment that really mattered. Kara is the kindest photographer and so easy going. I had a few ideas I wanted for the graduation photo shoot we did together and she was so kind and happy to oblige in everything I asked. She knew how to perfectly pose me and my spouse when we were shooting for the most flattering angles. She has so much attention to detail and was always making sure my necklace was in the right spot and that my hair wasn’t flying out of place. She is seriously so amazing and her attention to detail turns out in the best photo editing. It’s timeless, classic and beautiful.

My experience with Kara was amazing. I had my makeup done with a makeup artist right before I met with Kara for my pictures. My makeup turned out to be too heavy and orange , for my taste. I did not feel like myself, so Kara helped me wipe some of the orange-ness off my face, which made me feel a little more like me. But, I wasn't expecting to like any of my photos because of my makeup. However, I was SO pleasantly surprised when I received my photos. They turned out beautiful and I love them. Every shoot I do is unique, because every family is unique. After years of experience, I have learned how to create a safe space for my clients to feel comfortable and be themselves. Rather than just stiffly posing for the camera, I gently guide and direct you and your loved ones throughout the whole session, including fun games, posing prompts and lots of giggles. This process allows us to capture authentic, detailed, beautiful images that reflect exactly who you and your family are. You can expect a perfect mix of both looking at the camera photos and candid detailed shots that showcase your family and the location. And best of all, you can expect to have fun.
